Some important details about visiting
The StarHouse:
DIRECTIONS: It’s about a 20-minute drive from downtown Boulder to The StarHouse, up Sunshine Canyon. From the corner of 4th and Mapleton, continue westward up Sunshine Canyon (Mapleton turns into Sunshine Canyon just west of 4th) for 3.5 miles. You will see a dirt driveway on your right with several mailboxes at 3476 Sunshine Canyon. Proceed up this driveway until you reach the crest of the hill. Park in the lot toward your right. You will see the entrance gate and a short pathway down to The StarHouse. Consider carpooling with friends if possible. Please note the entire property is “no-smoking.” Your iphone map app will likely desert you on the way up Sunshine Canyon Drive, so please be sure to note the address, 3476 Sunshine Canyon Drive, before you go.
FOOTWEAR AND PARKING:
When you come to The StarHouse, you’ll park in an upper parking lot and follow the path down to The StarHouse. There will be attendants in the parking lot to point the way. It’s a three-minute walk on dirt paths; please choose your footwear with that in mind. The StarHouse is a no-shoes zone, so you’ll be asked to leave your shoes inside the entryway. Inside The StarHouse, you can be barefoot or in socks.
ACCESSIBILITY: Contact us to discuss accessibility needs. It's possible to drop people off right at the StarHouse and the parking lot attendants can help you with that.
THE SETTING: The StarHouse is at 7,000 feet altitude. It is twelve-sided – a dodecagon – created using the sacred geometry that was used to design the great cathedrals of Europe. The property is certified organic, and bio-dynamic practices are used on the land. There are a number of sacred sites and other features on the surrounding land and we encourage you to come at least a half hour before concert time in order to enjoy the striking beauty and peacefulness of the setting. There will also be time to wander at intermission. You can download a map of the property below; we will also have them available at the concert.

All Seasons Chalice & The StarHouse were co-founded and constructed by a small group of people dedicated to the principles of Sacred Geometry, StarWisdom, Sacred Union, Mythical Theatre and Community Ceremony. This beautiful, land-based temple was built between 1989-90. Since then we’ve served as a sacred meeting place for humanity and the Divine as a living temple offering itself to the world in the spirit of Trans-denominational spirituality and the unity of all faiths and traditions. We have served spiritual seekers in the Front Range and beyond for over 20 years and welcome you.

Here's a map for the Arts Hub in Lafayette, at 420 Courtney Way. Finding this building for the first time may feel like a bit of an adventure, but it is easy: From Boulder, heading east on South Boulder, go to the second light past 287, which is Dixon Ave. Turn right on Dixon and you'll drive right to the Arts Hub. From Public Rd, head west on South Boulder; Dixon is the first light east of Public. Turn left on Dixon. (The Arts Hub is behind the east/left end of the strip mall which has Jax Home and Ranch on the west/right end.)
In Widening Circles, Sound Circle offers a compassionate wondering, in song, about the tribal nature of humans and the roots of the seeming intractability of the political and moral divisions in this country. With songs drawn from a richly varied range of sources and styles, Widening Circles is our best offering to our community in a political climate that continues to be crazy-making and deeply disturbing to so many of us.
We'll perform twice in Boulder County, before heading to the Western Slope town of Rangely for a concert on June 16, and then a performance in Steamboat Springs on June 17. See upper right column for information. While in Rangely, we will be singing and recording at The Tank Center for Sonic Arts.
We'll sing Float Down the River, by local singer/songwriter Kimmerjae Johnson; Rising Appalachia's Wider Circles, Craig Carnelia's Flight in the duet version made famous by Sutton Foster and Megan McGinnis and music from the fabulous Australian quintet Coco's Lunch, including Lisa Young's Ai-ee-yi.
We'll perform twice in Boulder County, before heading to the Western Slope town of Rangely for a concert on June 16, and then a performance in Steamboat Springs on June 17. See upper right column for information. While in Rangely, we will be singing and recording at The Tank Center for Sonic Arts.
