Donations to Sound Circle are deeply appreciated and extremely helpful. Our preference is to receive donations to our general operating fund, but we would be happy to talk with you if you are interested in making a donation targeted toward a particular project, such as a commission. Please let us know if you would like to discuss details of a contribution you are considering. Because Sound Circle functions as a small business rather than a non-profit organization — we are not a 501(c)3 — we work with a fiscal sponsor, the Boulder County Arts Alliance (BCAA), to enable individuals to make tax-deductible contributions. BCAA takes a very reasonable 5% processing fee for this service. You will receive a tax letter from Sound Circle. OUR FISCAL MODEL: Our primary sources of revenue are ticket sales and contributions from individuals, as well as CD sales and singers' dues. We operate with extremely low overhead costs and a lean management style, keeping things simple and very focused. |
