GALA Choruses (the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses) GALA Choruses (the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses) leads the North American LGBT choral movement, with a mission of “empowering LGBT choruses as we change our world through song.” GALA Choruses’ signature event is the quadrennial Festival, which brings together over 130 choruses and 5,000 singers for the world’s largest LGBT performing arts event. The next festival will take place at the Denver Performing Arts Center, July 2-6, 2016. We acknowledge and appreciate our friends in the other Colorado member choruses of GALA: Denver Gay Men's Chorus, Denver Women's Chorus, Harmony: A Colorado Chorale, Sine Nomine, Out Loud: The Colorado Springs Men's Chorus, and Phoenix, Colorado's Trans Community Choir. Sister Singers The Sister Singers Network is a cooperative web of feminist choruses and ensembles, composers, arrangers, and individual singers working together to support and enrich the women's choral movement.
