Sound Circle’s revenue comes from a variety of sources; primary sources are ticket sales, CD sales, grants, and contributions from individuals. We operate with low overhead and a generally frugal management style. We like keeping things simple and keeping a very strong focus on our primary activity of making music together and sharing that with our audiences.

Donations to Sound Circle are deeply appreciated and extremely helpful, because they support us in keeping that essential focus on our mission.

They can be made in two ways. Because Sound Circle is not a 501(c)3, we work with a fiscal sponsor, the Boulder County Arts Alliance, to enable individuals to make tax-deductible contributions.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution, please write your check to Boulder County Arts Alliance and write Sound Circle in the memo line. These contributions can be sent to Sound Circle or directly to BCAA at 2590 Walnut St., Suite #9, Boulder, CO 80302. (BCAA takes a 5% processing fee for this service.) You will receive a tax letter from us.

If tax-deductibility doesn’t matter to you, checks can be made to Sound Circle and sent directly to us.
